From June 10th to 11th, 2018, at Room A2.04, Campus A of UEH, International School of Business (ISB) held the 10th International Conference on Education, Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences (EEHSS-18) with the management and sponsorship of the Excellence in Research & Innovation (EIRAI), for the purpose of publishing excellent scientific researches and acknowledging great efforts of scientists, researchers and academicians across the broad spectrum of fields.

UEH delegation attended the JEUL Workshop (Erasmus+ Programme) on “Enterprise Pathway” in Vilnius, Lithuania

From 4th to 8th June, 2018, along with delegates from all partner universities, the delegation of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) attended the workshop on “Enterprise Pathway” at Vilnius University, Lithuania including Associate Professor Tram Thi Xuan Huong - Vice Dean and Dr. Hoang Hai Yen - Head of Currency Trading Department of the School of Banking, on Enterprise- Pathway. The workshop is part of a series of professional activities of Erasmus project.

UEH delegation mission in the Netherlands

In the framework of implementing a State-level scientific research project titled “Researching an economic growth model based on science, technology and innovation in Vietnam to the year 2030”, the research team of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh city led by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - President and Project Leader, had a business trip in the Netherlands from 22 to 25th May 2018.

The Talented Program Of ISB (Bachelor Of Business Administration) Accredited By CPA Australia

In early 2018, International School of Business (ISB) has been honored to receive an official accreditation by CPA Australia. CPA Australia (Certified Practising Accountant) is one of the largest and most respected professional accounting bodies in the world. With the recognition of CPA Australia, the soon-to-be graduates of ISB’s Bachelor Talented Program would be eligible directly for Professional level consisting of 6 subjects (because of being granted for a full exemption of 6 Foundation Level subjects) when they undertake the CPA Program provided by CPA Australia. Up to date, only three programs of the leading universities in Vietnam, including BBA Program of UEH-ISB, have been accredited by CPA Australia.

Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies (JABES) officially co-publishes its articles with EMERALD

The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) formally announces that Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies (JABES) in English version, guided under strategic initiatives for comprehensive restructuring toward international publication, is now included in the database of EMERALD Publishing, officially effective as of May 2018. This is the first journal about economics field in Vietnam which is published in EMERALD.

UEH signs MOU with SMU, witnessed by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc

On April 27th, 2018, in the framework of an official visit to Singapore and the 32nd ASEAN Summit attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) signed two Memoranda of Understanding to promote innovative activities and the start-up ecosystem in Vietnam.
