GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF SCHOLARSHIPS:

• International students who are not Vietnamese citizens.
• Having received admissions to UEH graduate program.
• Will commence the new academic year at time of scholarship awards.

Who is not eligible for the scholarships:

• Learners who are under the Exchange Treaty.
• Learners who have been awarded another scholarship from the University or another institution to cover tuition fees (in whole or in part) to study at UEH.
• Learners who have not completed the program within the official training period.

INFORMATION OF UEH INTERNATIONAL PhDs SCHOLARSHIPS:

Applicants are considered based on academic achievement at graduate/undergraduate level, from top to bottom until the amount of scholarships is met. Priority is given to international students with undergraduate degree issued by UEH.

The scholarship is only applicable for the official training period of the program.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS OF VIETNAMESE INSTRUCTIONS POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM:

Degree Prerequisites:

• Similar or Equivalent Disciplines: Having the right qualifications/degrees with the registered discipline:
  • Master’s Degree in Economics, Business and Management for Economics/Business/Management fields; OR
  • Master’s Degree in Law for Economics Law field.

In case the candidate has a master's degree in the same field of Economics, Business, Management but is not aligned with intended registration field, he/she is required to study some additional knowledge modules of the training program after being admitted.

• Other disciplines: Having a degree in another discipline but with a research orientation in economics, business and management, jurisprudence.

In case the candidate has not obtained a Master’s Degree, he/she is required to have an Excellent-ranking Bachelor’s Degree or above, as well as must study additional training program at the master's level in the relevant discipline, research-oriented.

Research Capacity:

• Having accumulated experience in scientific research, as shown in being the author of 01 article or report related to the field intended for research in a scientific journal/conference/international scientific publication, accounted for by the State Council for Professorship, within 03 years (36 months) to the date of program registration.
• Be able to implement and complete a research, demonstrated in a 3000 to 3500-word research thesis.
• Come highly recommended and trusted by the scientific community, demonstrated through letter(s) of recommendation from at least 01 researcher who is a Professor / Associate Professor, or has a Doctorate Degree, engaging in professional activities with the PhD candidate, knowledgeable of the field the applicant intends to study

Language Proficiency:

• Vietnamese language proficiency certificate at B2 (level 4/6) or equivalent, according to the Vietnamese Competency Framework.

• Year 2021: deadline September 30^th, 2021
• Year 2022:
  • Intake 1: before April 30^th, 2022
  • Intake 2: before September 30^th, 2022

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS OF ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM:

Applicants are Southeast Asian citizens but not Vietnamese or foreigners teaching, researching or working in Vietnam. The applicants must meet the below requirements:

Degree Prerequisites:

• Similar or Equivalent Disciplines: Having the right qualifications/degrees with the registered discipline:
  • Master’s Degree in Economics, Business and Management for Economics/Business/Management fields; OR
  • Master’s Degree in Law for Economics Law field.

In case the candidate has a master's degree in the same field of Economics, Business, Management but is not aligned with intended registration field, he/she is required to study some additional knowledge modules of the training program after being admitted.

• Come highly recommended and trusted by the scientific community, demonstrated through letter(s) of recommendation from at least 01 researcher who is a Professor / Associate Professor, or has a Doctorate Degree, engaging in professional activities with the Ph.D. candidate, knowledgeable of the field the applicant intends to study

Language Proficiency:

Applicant must meet at least one of the below requirements:

• Applicant is a citizen of countries speaking English as their native language.
• The applicant having a bachelor/master degree with full-time training in English in a foreign university/college.
• The applicant has a Bachelor's degree in English Language.
• Valid IELTS (Academic) at 6.0 or above (issued by British Council or IPD Australia or University of Cambridge), TOEFL iBT at 65 or above (issued by IIG, IIE, or ETS-authorized testing centers)

4. One (01) Certified copies of Bachelor Degree and Academic Transcripts;
5. One (01) Certified copies of Master Degree and Academic Transcripts;

Notes: Any of degrees and transcripts issued by a non-Vietnamese educational institute must be translated into Vietnamese and notarized. They have to be enclosed with recognition document of the Education Quality Management Department, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam (For document official certification, please visit: ).

6. Vietnamese language proficiency certificate at B2 (level 4/6) or equivalent, according to the Vietnamese Competency Framework;
7. Five (05) sets, each set includes: Research Proposal (the form is here) and articles published in scientific journals/conference articles with proceedings published within 36 months from the date of application submission.
8. Written consent for the use of articles by co-authors (if there is a multi-author post);
9. Two (02) 4x6 cm of your ID pictures, with information in the back: full name, date of birth, place of birth;
10. Passport and student entry Visa.
